Cheltenham FireFighters trained on Engine company operations at the Gottschalk fire training area tonight. Crews practiced teamwork while maintaining crew integrity, fire suppression and extinguishment techniques radio communications, while new drivers were honing their pump operations. There are so many disciplines happening at one time on every fire ground, that drills like these are vital to the preparation and safety of your local volunteer firefighters when emergency calls.
