Cheltenham Fire Company regrets to announce the passing of Life Member and Past Deputy Chief Harold Brooks. Harold passed away on Saturday, July 28. He was 91. Harold joined the fire company in 1951. He remained very active with the company until he and his wife, Margie, retired to Florida in the late 80's.

He served as a chief officer for a good portion of his active career. He was a teacher and mentor to many of our current members. Harold could always be seen coming through the door of the station smoking his pipe and offering a kind word to everyone.

The Cheltenham Fire Company would like to thank Margie for sharing Harold with us for so many years. We extend our sincerest condolences to the entire Brooks family. You will never be forgotten.
