Rest In Peace Chief Ward

Station 4, May 26

This past Tuesday evening the members of the Cheltenham Fire Company said farewell to past chief and life member Jim Ward. Jim was appointed as a lieutenant at the age of 18 and served as an officer for his entire 20 year active firefighting career. In his final year of active service, Jim served as chief of the company. Truck Company Operations class

Cheltenham Fire Company hosted Truck company operations over the last 4 weeks. Members from CFC as well as Rockledge Fire company (Station 9) participated. The class worked on concepts and skills used with truck or ladder work. Concepts went over building construction, throwing ladders, VES, operating tools on roofs, operating with Tower 4, and search and rescue. The class was broken into 4 parts. ... (Full Story & Photos)

Firefighters Enjoy "Kindness Day" at Berachah Church

The Great Kindness Challenge is a week dedicated to performing acts of kindness and is a proactive bullying prevention program. This year Berachah Church hosted a "Kindness Day" and our firefighters were lucky enough to take part. Santa Claus is Coming To Town

Santa has asked the fire company to help him check addresses in Cheltenham Village and Rowland Park! We will be escorting him on Sunday evening starting at 6pm. Listen for our sirens that will let you know he's on his way! Make sure your house number is clearly visible, that helps not only Santa, but your emergency responders also!
