LaMott Fire Company Says Good Bye to Life Member

February 16

The LaMott Fire Company announced the passing of long time life member Joe Bates, Sr. Joe served as both Chief and President of LaMott. Both of his sons were also firefighters at LaMott. Cheltenham Fire Company, along with Elkins Park Fire Company, helped honor him at his funeral with a ladder arch. Strong work Joe, we thank you for your dedication and service. Rest in peace.... Deputy Chief Tim Schuck and Chief Engineer Richard Schuck represented Cheltenham Fire Company at this years 6 abc Save A Life event. This event promotes fire safety and helps get smoke detectors out to fire departments throughout our area. CHFD thanks our local HERO's by attending Berachah Church - Veterans Commemoration Service

Berachah Church hosted a special Veterans Commemoration Service for all of our local veterans.
