Cheltenham Fire Company regrets to announce the passing of Life Member and Past Deputy Chief Harold Brooks. Harold passed away on Saturday, July 28. He was 91. Harold joined the fire company in 1951. He remained very active with the company until he and his wife, Margie, retired to Florida in the late 80's.

Monday May 28 is Memorial Day. It's not the start of summer, it's a day to remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice to protect our freedom. The only open fires permitted are clean, dry wood in an appropriate container (outdoor fireplace, chiminea, fire ring) that is constantly attended.
