March 4th - smoke in the area reported

March 04

On March 4th at 1545 hours Cheltenham Fire Company was dispatched for a report of smoke in the area at Tookany Creek Parkway and Cheltenham Avenue. Engine 4 arrived with Philadelphia Engine 63 to find a large brush fire along the Cheltenham / Philadelphia border. Three hand lines were placed in service to contain the fire initially. No Caption Thursday 2/28; Weekly Training Night "Hose Line Deployment Techniques"

This Thursday evening, the members of Cheltenham Fire Company trained on hose line deployment techniques. Thanks to Fort Washington Fire Company for allowing us to use their hose prop. Our members got a lot more reps in packing and deploying the "Minute Man" hose load.... (Full Story & Photos)

SPS Technologies Fire is officially Extinguished as of 2/22 - 3:53PM

One of the largest fires in recent township history was officially extinguished late Saturday afternoon. We extend our heartfelt thanks to the nearly 70 fire companies whose efforts and sacrifices helped bring this incident to a safe conclusion from a fire ground perspective.
